At the turn of the 20th century, our hot, dry climate became a healing environment for people who journeyed here from all over to cure chronic ailments, and our mineral-rich hot springs soothed bodies and souls. In fact, the very first of Palm Springs’ famous healing enclaves stood only a few blocks away from our petite resort, at the corner of Palm Canyon Drive and Tahquitz Canyon Way. Korakia was born as Palm Springs was becoming renowned as a wellness retreat, so if you’re already feeling its rejuvenating spirit as you walk through our courtyards, that’s simply the serenity that’s baked into our DNA. Our Petite Resort is your sanctuary
Sitting in the shadow of the native Cahuilla people’s sacred Mt. San Jacinto, Korakia has hosted days-long retreats that include yoga sessions in our citrus grove, fireside intention-setting sessions, guided nature hikes, sound baths, and evening swims in our two saltwater pools, heated to 95°F when it gets cool. Create meditational moments and hold motivational speaking sessions in our courtyards, essential oil classes in one of our historic villas, and enjoy nourishing meals around our rose petal-strewn Moroccan fountain. Stock your guests’ rooms with the amenities, notebooks and other fine details that will make your wellness retreat memorable—and help set their intentions for a beautifully personalized journey to wellbeing. You can take a full buyout of 28 rooms in both villas, or one side: the Mediterranean villa (16 rooms) or Moroccan villa (12)—both with their own distinctive social spaces and heated saltwater pools. If you have a more intimate group, our 6-bedroom Auric House, which sleeps up to 12, could be a great option as well, offering a perfect blend of privacy and comfort for your gathering.

Our historic courtyard, lobby and library spaces host indoor/outdoor events and can be configured in multiple ways. Our front courtyard makes a scenic backdrop for a wedding, milestone birthday, or corporate retreat. Begin with cocktail hour, and give your guests the option to spread into the library with its cozy fireplace and vaulted ceilings. A kitchen adjacent to the lobby makes prep easy for cocktail events.

Moroccan Pool Deck
Our Moroccan pool deck and adjoining courtyard are the perfect backdrop for scenic dinner parties and weddings. A convenient setting with lots of features gives your guests the option of moving around to different environments: They’ll love milling around (or swimming in) the pool; sitting around the fire pit in the waterfall seating area; and socializing around the adjoining fireplace and outdoor bar.

Mediterranean Event
Our Mediterranean Event space is our largest outdoor area, and can be used for parties, brand activations, weddings, receptions, photo shoots and cocktail hours. A pool with three ground-level fireplaces; yoga platform for 20 people that can also be used as a dance floor; and large seating space, make this a truly flexible event space.

Orchard House
Stage your wedding—or elopement—with up to 20 guests in our private orange orchard. The house is also an elegant setting for a dinner party, VIP lounge, birthday celebration or photo shoot. This is a particularly romantic house and environment, with three fireplaces (one outside), waterfall, full kitchen, wood beam ceilings, and our secluded citrus orchard behind private walls.

Naish House
Ideal for intimate dinner parties and lounges, Naish House has been used as a VIP lounge during local music festivals, a groomsmen hub during weddings, and can be configured for any kind of event. The historic small villa has a fireplace and private outdoor shower, full kitchen, sun room, vaulted ceilings, a breakfast nook, dining table and living room.
