Korakia offers an intimate and dramatic setting for your destination wedding. Our historic petite resort is a 1.5-acre oasis in the heart of Palm Springs, comprising the 1920s Moroccan hideaway created by artist Gordon Coutts and the Mediterranean villa next door, once owned by 1930s silent screen star J. Carol Naish. Together, they form a hidden oasis of gardens, pools, lounges, and fountains among 28 Mediterranean and Moroccan villas and homes. Cross the grand threshold of our iconic Moorish archway into our sun washed courtyards, redolent of citrus and jasmine flowers. With the stunning San Jacinto Mountains as your backdrop, your vows will be picturesque and unforgettable. With outdoor event space for up to 130 people, Korakia can host your special day from start to finish—from twilight cocktail hours and intimate rehearsal dinners to wedding and recovery brunches,Â
If your wedding style is more intimate, or an elopement is what you desire, Orchard House is the ultimate in special, private spaces. After a ceremony in or around the historic home, surrounded by citrus trees, host a dinner right on your own private grounds. Orchard House can accommodate a 30-guest cocktail reception and 25 guests for a seater dinner.

Destination Escape
Weddings at Korakia are an escape with your closest friends and family. Greet the day with sun salutations and indulge in a full breakfast surrounded by citrus blossoms and olive trees in our Moroccan courtyard. Spend your afternoons relaxing with a book under the beams of our historic library or lounge by one of our saltwater pools. In the evening, stroll around the villas after the ritual lighting of our Moroccan lanterns, catch a classic movie projected outdoors on our Mediterranean deck, or relax under millions of stars in the desert sky.Â
In between events and activities, your guests can unwind in our desert oasis. Hike the mountains, indulge in a spa treatment, explore with a leisurely bike ride touring our Palm Springs’ legendary architecture or play a game of bocce… your guests will have the space and time to unwind and relax.
Courtyard & Lobby
Our historic courtyard, lobby and library spaces host indoor/outdoor events and can be configured in multiple ways. Our front courtyard makes a scenic backdrop for a wedding, milestone birthday, or corporate retreat. Begin with cocktail hour, and give your guests the option to spread into the library with its cozy fireplace and vaulted ceilings. A kitchen adjacent to the lobby makes prep easy for cocktail events.

Moroccan Pool Deck
Our Moroccan pool deck and adjoining courtyard are the perfect backdrop for scenic dinner parties and weddings. A convenient setting with lots of features gives your guests the option of moving around to different environments: They’ll love milling around (or swimming in) the pool; sitting around the fire pit in the waterfall seating area; and socializing around the adjoining fireplace and outdoor bar.

Mediterranean Event
Our Mediterranean Event space is our largest outdoor area, and can be used for parties, brand activations, weddings, receptions, photo shoots and cocktail hours. A pool with three ground-level fireplaces; yoga platform for 20 people that can also be used as a dance floor; and large seating space, make this a truly flexible event space.

Mediterranean Pool

Orchard House
Stage your wedding—or elopement—with up to 20 guests in our private orange orchard. The house is also an elegant setting for a dinner party, VIP lounge, birthday celebration or photo shoot. This is a particularly romantic house and environment, with three fireplaces (one outside), waterfall, full kitchen, wood beam ceilings, and our secluded citrus orchard behind private walls.

Naish House
Ideal for intimate dinner parties and lounges, Naish House has been used as a VIP lounge during local music festivals, a groomsmen hub during weddings, and can be configured for any kind of event. The historic small villa has a fireplace and private outdoor shower, full kitchen, sun room, vaulted ceilings, a breakfast nook, dining table and living room.
