Bikes
Explore the neighborhood and Palm Springs’ famous design and architectural landmarks on one of our stylish cruiser bikes, which have baskets for shopping convenience. Helmets are provided for your safety, and our front desk at the hotel is happy to give you a map with bike-friendly routes.
Heated Pools
Enjoy a swim in one of our two heated saltwater pools—both with views of the San Jacinto Mountains, and open 24 hours to our guests. Travel + Leisure magazine named the Mediterranean pool “one of the sexiest pools in the world.”
Meditation & Soundbath
Each Wednesday we offer a candlelit meditation. Relax on our yoga deck as our meditation leader guides you through the affirmation.
Yoga
Greet the day with sun salutations on Saturday mornings. Centering, calming, and illuminating, each class is adapted to the energy and experience for all guests. Our classes are complimentary to guests, and you can inquire at the front desk to book private sessions.
Breakfast
Begin the day with a home cooked breakfast in our beautiful Moroccan front courtyard. Enjoy a selection of nourishing choices surrounded by citrus trees and burbling fountains. If you like to sleep in, your breakfast can be delivered to your room for a small fee. We are pleased to accommodate your diet restrictions and special needs whenever possible. Welcome Drink
Our welcome drink is a Moroccan mint tea presented in hand-painted traditional Moroccan glasses—hot in the winter or iced in the summer. Korakia’s original owner warmly welcomed many friends from all over the world and a century later, we welcome travelers from around the world in what we hope is a similar fashion.
Guided Hikes & Historic Tours
Our Korakia staff are delighted to offer a tour of the historic property every Sunday. They’re also the ultimate insiders and host a Sunday morning hike to Tahquitz Canyon. Weather permitting.
Moroccan Tea
Refresh each afternoon and indulge your senses with our traditional Moroccan tea ritual. Pour a glass and lounge near one of our fire pits or the library and enjoy the conversation with other guests.
Candles
Each evening, our villas transform into a romantic kasbah atmosphere with our ritual lighting of 100 candles and lanterns throughout the courtyards and pathways of Korakia.
Movies
As the sun sets, Korakia presents classic vintage movies every night. Relax in the warm desert nights and enjoy your favorite actors under the stars—with popcorn, hot chocolate, and blankets.
Coffee Delivery
We’ll help you ease into the day with your own coffee or tea delivery outside your room by 7 a.m. each morning.
Bocce Ball
The bocce court is always set and waiting for a fun game with old and new friends.
